Here's what's weird. I have hundreds of audiobooks & not including the abridged version of The Princess Bride (ABRIDGED!!) , the only truly awful one I've ever come across was the 1st in this series. So is the book itself decent? I don't know who did what with the audiobook but it's pretty horrendous. Made it hard to judge the storyline.

Jc I thought it was terrible. TERRIBLE. In every conceivable way. Not to mention boring. And the narration (audio) was bad as well.

Did you think this was anywhere as good as The Last Mile? Amos Decker was not on his game in this novel.
