Little…moreI really enjoyed it because it showed even more so her sweet mother-like tendencies, and it also brought her and Arthur together several times. Little Dorrit even remarks on how she thinks he'd be such a good father one time, when he's watching Maggy. Also, I have a little sister named Maggie with a mental disability but who is so sweet and good and happy and fun, like our Maggy in the book, so she reminded me of her and so set me an example in Little Dorrit in my relationship with her. She would be in her early 20's, he would be in his early 40s. The page with the Clennam codicil is the paper that she gives to Arthur to burn for her, because she's had enough of social climbing and wealthy pretensions. Arthur isn't rich, because he invested in Merdle's Ponzi and lost everything. His stepmother had already cut him off, and it's safe to assume that after her house/place of business collapsed she had very little to leave him anyway. (less)

Some of them read as though they'd been put through a computerized translation program into Elbonian and then back again to English. Ask for your money back. The edition I read had some odd capitalizations, but otherwise seemed to be accurate. (less)
