It's all about stupid squirrels. Don't lie about it being about dragons, if you're just going to write about squirrels. >.< I thought there would be DRAGONS!!! Why isn't there?

Marley Robinson If you continue reading the series, it certainly gets off of the squirrels, the writing becomes more mature, and it has a lot more about dragons.

I'm only in 15.88% into this book but I really like the idea and concept of it. Not everyone will like this type of books but I sure like it. I'm not very far into this book but I think I'll love it and probably read the other books. I'm looking forward to this book, you should too. If you want though. I heard the other books are complicated to read so I want to make sure that there aren't boring?

Why is this set in Massachusetts when it clearly doesn't take place there? The laws, animal species, packaged foods and so on aren't American, so the choice to use it as a setting at all seems odd. Do later books explain this?

What was the whole reason to the book? It was a good book but a little cunfusing
