Hi, Ms Cavallaro, I really love "A Study in Charlotte", and I have 3 questions: 1) Is this the second Charlotte Holmes novel? 2) Is the title based on one of the original Sherlock Holmes stories? The "A Study in Scarlet/Charlotte" link was obvious, but I don't see anything in this one, except maybe for "Charles Augustus Milverton". 3) Is it true there'll only be 3 novels? I'd love it if there'd be more!

Th…moreLike the first book, there's frequent use of language (several use of "f" and "s"), mentions and allusions to sex, and the some discussion of rape. There isn't much violence, but there are a few descriptions of blood, etc.

Do I need to read the first book in order to read this one? Cuz I don't have the first one but I have the second one and I am kinda really intrigued.
