As I read this I had flashbacks of the ID channels "Crime to remember" episode of Betty Williams.

And it bugs me that Moracho doesn't appear to acknowledge this anywhere. Both Cylin Busby and Cristin Terrill have openly talked about their books, The Stranger Game and Here Lies Daniel Tate, being inspired by Nicholas Barclay case. Nowhere in A Good Idea is the real Betty memorialized or mentioned, even though Moracho took everything from her wardrobe to her *name* for the book.(less)
