The word "bikk!" was also used, which I'm assuming is a swear word used in that society - but I have not idea what it means so I don't think that's to worry about.

As far as sexuality, the main character seems to be a bisexual teenager, but she doesn't openly admit it - nor does it seem like it bothers her throughout the book. The only sexual content in this book are some kisses and maybe a hug - nothing too graphic and Fifty-Shades-Of-Grey-worthy!
