Could this book be a good summer read for 6th graders?

Beth Snider Yes. Very Christian view, and some description of violence, but no worse than an average cartoon.

?This is absolutely a great read for sixth graders. Although a fiction story - very striking of reality. China claims to have freedom of religion but that is not so. If you want to have a Church publicly you have to register with the government and you cannot teach about Jesus but that communist is good. Church believers gather privately and the government bust their meetings and some are mistreated.
