i have a question about the whole series of zion covenant.. Warsaw Requiem is the only novel i have right now which i can read and no other zion covenant series' books... so do i have to read earlier versions of the series to understand this novel?

If you read the Covenant series first, you would already know the complete outcome of the first series, and you wouldn't know the backstories of the returning characters. (less)

Do you recommend reading the last 3 books in the series? I have been increasingly disappointed with this series as it progressed and from reviews it seems it doesn't really improve and many of the main characters disappear.
