I counted ab…moreI've just gone and double checked. The 'f' word is used exactly once. Other lesser swears (in particular, sh*t), are used very minimally. I counted about 15 instances in the entire book. Nothing worse than those. No sexual content; no violence. I'd say it's definitely suitable for younger teens :) Keep in mind, it does deal with the subject of loss but it is in a very realistic, and not sensationalistic, way. Hope this helps!(less)
