I don't get it. What is the next book?

Tim Bezant i dont get it either, i'm currently on Cross the Line (book 24) and there is no mention of his arrest from (Book 23.5), he's still a cop investigating…morei dont get it either, i'm currently on Cross the Line (book 24) and there is no mention of his arrest from (Book 23.5), he's still a cop investigating murder, as usual, and the events of Cross kill arent not even mentioned. Its as if some two different writers did these books, and being James Patterson, wouldn't doubt it, ever since 2000 with the help of co authors, he's been pushing out 10 books a year, and now these Book Shots are too much to keep up with.(less)

Does anyone else feel "used" by Patterson's stable of writers and his publishers? They're out for cheap thrills and $$$$. Why end a book with so many Qs unanswered and unresolved. CROSS KILL is the last book I'll ever read "authored" by Patterson. Hypocrisy to say "most trusted storyteller."

Ok. I just finished Cross Kill. Now that the ending leaves you hanging, how do I know which book to read next?

Am I the only one that likes the book shots by James Patterson because they are complete thriller stories that can be read quickly? I really liked this book and would have given it a 4-5 -- until I got to the end that wasn't an end. Sorry James, but not sure if I want to start another book shot without an end.
