It's rare that an interpretation is so well thought out. The book is simple and interesting on its own. The twist at the end is delicious and it was a compelling read. The movie on the other hand had so many layers. It was if it was a completely different novel in itself. Both can be appreciated. :)(less)

I'm careful about the books I read and hope somebody could answer my questions. Is there any foul language, including using the F-word. Are there explicit sex scenes or eroticism? I'm concerned about the mention of pedophiles. How prevalent and how explicit are these passages? Thank you.

There are a couple F-bombs and some other profanity. I wish there was less of this content—the story was interesting, tragic, and well-structured.(less)
