Why does anyone like this book? Why do you think Guy made the Night lords to be the biggest wimps out of the entire space marine chapters? Why do you think he made them so weak that they get killed by humans and killed by the score by other marines?

They never really experienced any of it and even before the heresy their interpretation of discipline and military conduct would have made a siege of this kind very costly.

On the other hand I do agree they made a lot of mistakes that go beyond arrogance and carelessness due to high number advantage. (less)

Is the Pharos beacon ancient xenos tech from the Old Ones? The fact that the 'machine' works on empathetic energies and the fact that the Old Ones were a psychic species seems to point to this as being one of their 'portals'.

I just read this..By far the worst book of the HH series. I read the post below and have to agree with how could anyone like this book.. Its bad.. Almost as bad as all of Guys books..Which are all pretty horrible and boring?
