I have bought so many copies of this book for friends. Its so incredible I want to share it-----so for the 1st time ever----I buy and buy, and so far in french and spanish translations. such a magnificent book. so, does anyone else do this, and for which books?

I am 50 pages into this book and the style seems to be long lists of items, streets names and very little actual story. Does it get better?

I wouldn't actually call it a story, but it is more than just place names. I found the street names fascinating because for a few, I could say, "I've been there!"(less)
