Will this book be interesting to an intelligent, bookish, 16 year old girl? I listened to an author interview and the topics seem like something my daughter might relate to/learn from but I also know she writes about motherhood and later-in life experiences and wonder how much of the book falls into that time period.

This is not so much due to the motherhood elements (they are a fairly small percentage of the book and dealt with in a smart way) but there's a significant amount of "sex and relationships and drinking during your twenties and thirties." Klein is honest and self aware in the manner of a friend's much older sister who tells you about her young adult years in a no holds barred fashion. (less)
