I have a hard time getting through novels about tweens and teenagers, even if it is set in a fantasy world.

Almost all of the characters in this book are adults. It reads clean and easy, but I don't think I'd, personally, classify it as YA. It doesn't read like Twilight or Hunger Games with all of the teenage issues.

It's a good choice.(less)

So if you don't like "Chronicles", this might not be your series.(less)
