I feel like Zeisler was trying to inform the reader to be aware of the systematic issues more than anything. I think she also makes a point that a lot of the problems she addresses are benign, and do not require solutions so much as awareness. (For example, the use of the word "empowerment" in advertising and mainstream media isn't directly hurting anyone, but is annoying and should be acknowledged as something paradoxical to the overall feminist movement.)(less)
