I thought I was the only one who didn't like this book. I think so far this is the worst WMC book. This book ruined Lindsay and Joe for me. Granted relationships are not good all the time but did the book have the end the way it did? James Patterson, please go back to the way things were. I stopped reading Alex Cross and I don't want to stop reading this too.

NO spouse would ever be thinking they are betrayed by the keeping of classified information. It is part of the job. As a child, my father told me "God, Country, Family - in that order" when he explained that if he was tortured for his secrets, he would have to give us up to keep them. Needs of the many - the well being of the whole country before himself. You do not get a clearance if you cannot uphold that vow. The thought that she does not understand this is idiotic! And it makes her seem weak and flighty. Who edited this book and said this was a good idea??!!(less)

I am glad to see that I was not the only one who didn't like this book. It was not up to the quality of the other WMC books in the series; I did not get the significance of the 15th Affair title; there was not as much interaction between and among the women and the ending left me hanging.....It seems as though Lindsey and Joe are done...which is okay if that's the way the series carries on, but bad ending?
