In chapter 39 Winter asks Jude not to call her 'babe' again. Where did he call her 'babe' the first time? I can't find it anywhere...maybe I'm blind?

Floating Head of Misery When Jude pretends to be Winter’s boyfriend in chapter 35 (an attempt to save her from those dudes in the pickup truck) he calls her “babe”.
