That said, if you're up for an entirely less creepy read, Dandelion Wine is still worth reading. :D(less)

For reasons difficult to articulate, I would definitely read "Dandelion Wine" first.

By the way, both books are Bradbury's finest works (partly due to them containing personal memories of his own youth) and convey subtle emotional impact sometimes not as strong in his other works. I believe they are key works of the twentieth century and great works of art.
