I would have no concerns having my own 15-year-old daughter read it, as I know she could both handle the subject matter (none of which is age-inappropriate, even for younger readers) and more importantly handle the complexities and confusing nature of the book-within-a-book-within-a-book structure and an ending that has even professional reviewers questioning what the heck happened. If your 15-year-old is ok with confusing and somewhat ambiguous, then I think you're good.(less)
