Was anyone else aware of a STRONG similarity in the storyline about the cult to a mystery by another Nordic writer? I think the author I am thinking of is a woman...but I cannot remember either the name of the author or of the book and it's driving me crazy!

Was their a book in the series between "The Marco Effect" and "The Hanging Girl"? There are references to things in THG that weren't in TME but seem like they could have happened in a book in between the two. Thanks!

I listened to Purity of Vengeance on audio so it definitely has been translated. I assumed the things referred to that haven't happened in a book are to show us that the cases we're reading aren't their only ones. Ronnie was definitely in an earlier book, though. I think the first.(less)
