If i read lights out and want to read game on, can i skip caught up?

Andrea B I’d say yes. Each book tells a self-contained story and doesn’t rely on earlier ones; references to other characters feel more like fun extras.

What is the significance of the green mask on the cover?

Gabriela Cabestrero literally nothing. The mask is because he is a bookie and in the parties that he hosts the guests are obligated to wear masks (anonymity thingies) and…moreliterally nothing.
