Is this book appropriate for 7th and 8th grade students?

Carrie Hovgaard no way, this is only appropriate for people with the ability of strong critical thinking, it's very problematic and has dangerous views on rape, drugs ect.

Ok, so when Michael became a vampire in an earlier book the house 'reset' its self to allow vampires in without an invitation (meaning that humans required invitation to enter) yet in this book it has reverted back to the vampires requiring invitation to enter. I think this was a BIG oversight on the part of the author as I do not recall it changing back in the earlier books....Any ideas?

Michael is now a vamp and so it should be the humans who require invites, but yet it's still the vampires who are left standing on the front step (Oliver and Ysandre ask for invites), and Jason (a human) was in their kitchen without an invite. It's just a huge continuity error.(less)
