I would like to know what readers think about the last two paragraphs of the book. Is it Hannah talking for her father? If it is her father that it should read that the mother and sisters were ecstatic. My book says sister, which leads me to believe it is Hannah speaking until the last line that states that they will be good men.

Anyone else frustrated with grammatical errors? This is a fantastic read, albeit difficult, due to its darkness and sadness and utter desperation within characters. Much is adolescence - at its worst.! The writing is rich and wonderful, but there is a niggling error: repetitive misuse of the object of the preposition when object is 'me vs I.' Also, when more than two, the preposition is 'among' not 'between.'

What was the whole point of the Challenger section? Just to prove it was about the 80's? It was such an interruption to the story.

I see the main characters are teens, but is this book appropriate for YA readers? (older YA, to be sure)
