I can't read any more American lies about Russia, so since the first book of the series wrapped up there, my question is: Is this book dissing and puking on Russia, and throwing up silly cliches and nonsens? I think the author is smarter than that, but you never know. If you've read the book, pls let me know!

I am listening to the audiobook and don't have the text. The character Tito is constantly referencing some discipline called 'sisgema' or 'sysjema' or something. Spelling?

I really loved Pattern Recognition and am hoping for something similar. Is this book as good or am I likely to be disappointed?

So I read Spook Country when I came out, and just finished Zero History, but never read Pattern Recognition. Did I screw this series up? The second 2 seems to be stand alone as much as anything, will it make sense to go back and read the first one?
