I can't read any more American lies about Russia, so since the first book of the series wrapped up there, my question is: Is this book dissing and puking on Russia, and throwing up silly cliches and nonsens? I think the author is smarter than that, but you never know. If you've read the book, pls let me know!

Interesting question: I have not finished the book yet, I am only on page 295, as yet I have to say that Russia is definitely not being dissed or even discussed. Also the Author is in fact Canadian not American.

It's a really long time since I read it but I'm 99% confident it didn't diss anyone, as you said Gibson is too smart for that!

Apparently you are Russian? You certainly have a chip on your shoulder in that regard. I've read the book several times, and have yet to find any lies about Russia. There are no significant Russian characters in the other books, so rest easy. The first book was well written, and nobody dissed any Russians!

An oak is a tree. A rose is a flower. A deer is an animal. A sparrow is a bird. RUSSIA is our fatherland! Death is inevitable
