Did I miss something?! **SPOILER*.... With Hayden being a Pulitzer Prize journalist, wouldn't he have discovered that the original name of the Ive's hotel was The Nicolette and put bis family connection together? It makes sense that Alice wouldn't until Hayden told her his mother's name, but even if Hayden didn't seek out the story, once he started researching the project, he would have certainly questioned this!?

How in hell did this book win a Goodreads Choice Award? This one was her worst book as it was so boring and the romance just not there.
