I've read three so far, The Winter Witch, The Silver Witch, and am half way through The Witch's Daughter. Each book is about a different set of characters, so there's no order in which you must read them, but read them you must.... IF you love witches! Happy reading! (less)

Her parents played a…moreMy first instinct would have been to ask my own parents, so this question definitely occurred to me more than once while reading. Her parents played a very brief role in the story, so it made sense for Brackston to forgo adding them into this part of the narrative. I also think that emitting parents from any story adds a sense of vulnerability and fright (because the character really seems disconnected and alone to fight her own battles).(less)
