Charlie's banter turned (crassly) sexual, & they were entwined & grinding against each other thru their clothes the whole time. It felt adolescent & unromantic, plus over the line for someone worried about ruining a friendship. (less)

Hey!! In general for any Carly fortune books, would it be appropriate for a 14 year old? I have read Emily Henry books before, am not the biggest fan of spice but can skip through it. I keep getting mixed answers online and I hope the book community can help me out!

Over half of that book is flashbacks to that & not even adult fiction IMO. Plus, I think looking back at those characters as teens casts them in a bad light.(less)
