Can someone please clarify something that's bugging me please? In a previous book they said Jolene Carter was fat but now in Faithless they say when she had the affair with Jeff she is thin and popular. I'm confused but a different description of her character?

Im confused, in earlier books I swear they say that Brock (the man who runs the funeral home) has a older brother and in this book they say he is a only child? I remember Sara mentioning that his older brother would take kids to see the dead bodies.

The author does a great job not revealing any "bad guys" from previous books but there are some character developments that you might not understand fully without reading in order.
