There is no bad language in the book as Kieren 'bleeps' it all out, but it is implied. The domestic violence situation is pretty horrible, but not too graphic. And the step dad is a drug dealer so there are drug references. As Kieren is quite innocent, you see everything through his viewpoint. (less)
