Our bodies are designed to stop bleeding when we enter the water BUT, Everyone IS different. Plus, I have done it myself without a tampon but I only stayed in the water to dip in and out, to cool off. Then you must deal with having a pad in a bathroom nearby to quickly slip it on during out of pool moments. I'd also suggest a towel to wrap around in case of pesky leaks. BEST: speak with your Family Doctor about tampon use and instructions. You Can do it when taught properly. (less)
