Jeanine Yes. Saw the movies first and just finished the books one after another which is always a great plan! The writing was such that I was able to get into…moreYes. Saw the movies first and just finished the books one after another which is always a great plan! The writing was such that I was able to get into the characters & the story line easily. They will not be easily forgotten which often happens with other books. I'm a senior citizen who loves to read and tries to keep up with what my grandchildren enjoy! Lovely experience. (less)

I am debating if I should even spend the time reading the rest of the series. I just finished maze runner and I am hearing that it gets a bit lame further on in the series. I guess I can try scorch trials and put it down if it gets lame.
