I just bought The Historian and am really looking forward to reading it but was wondering if I read that then this would it be able to keep me interested or are they too similar? They both sound very interesting, but similar in style and story type. Thanks.

It is from a different point of view of this book, and the stories occur in different time periods. Covenant with the Vampire occurs before the time in Bram Stoker's Dracula. The premise of The Historian is basically that some secrets are better left undiscovered and spans a lifetime in the telling. It's a great book, and this one is great as well! Not to let to much go, but Covenant is told from the point of view of those closest to the count. :-)(less)
