Now that understand the timing between Bear's disappearance and Barbara's age, my question is when did Alice conceive Barbara and would she have been under prescribed medication controlled by the doctors? She vaguely mentions the birth but not with the details of the infancy because Barbara was described as a hard to comfort child--very similar to a chid born to a drug addict

Did T.J. tell Barbara the truth about Bear?

what does the title mean?

Thsi question contains spoilers. Three years seems a lot time before Barbara could request "emancipation" as required in state of New York. Is it really possible she can remain hidden that long? Could she stand that?

This question contains spoilers. Is T.J.going to wait until her father dies to join Barbara at hidden island? Does not seem like she would leave him. If she takes him with her, wouldn't that arouse suspicions?
