I just reread Mission Song after a number of years and immediately had memory of having watched it on screen. It was not made into a movie that I can find, so does anyone know if it was adapted by BBC, perhaps, in a series they produced on intelligence? This is driving me batty but I am very certain I watched it besides having read it. Thanks for any help here.

I wondered: Did anyone have a problem with Bruno Salvo being, well, for lack of a better term, somewhat of a traitor? I mean Mr. Anderson told him up front that this mission was secretive and he'd have to get down and dirty. Salvo agreed wholeheartedly to dive in with both hands and do his best. Was it really his call to determine these were the bad guys, steal from his employers. take their bonus $ and rat them out

In this sense, he wasn't a traitor because he felt he was protecting the Congo and the UK and didn't seek to gain anything out of it for himself. Just my opinion...(less)
