Brenda Crane 2 at best...so far fetched and silly...hope her other books have more depth and believeabity!!!

This book was "recommended if you liked "Sum of Us" by Heather McGhee," a non-fiction title about racism in the US - how it has devalued, diminished, & devastated the lives of white people as much as people of color. It covers topics like the dis-investment in community swimming pools, undermining of environmental protections, mortgage inequity, and union-busting. Is there anything in "Comfort & Joy" that covers that?

Candykinser She walks in on her husband with another woman in the bed - but that is the end of that. The author does not elaborate on the scene.

This was very good. No explicit sex or garbage. It was a book that I looked forward to going to bed to read for an hour. It has a good Christmas attitude with in it. I would give it 4 - 41/2 stars. Can you squeeze it in before the holidays are over?
