Martin No, but the main character, Decker, is a descendant of hers. She is mentioned several times.

How is Alan descended from Ripley? Unless she has a child with Hicks or someone else at the end of the new-canon comic series we get this year, I don't know where he could come from. Amanda Ripley didn't have any children, and while Ripley probably took Newt in, she still isn't blood.
