I am looking for a book for my 13 year old and one of her friends recommended this one. But I know from unfortunate experience that trusting some of her friends judgement on books is not always the best thing. I am not a super strict parent but I don't like her to read books that romanticize teenage sex or that promote the idea that parents-just-don't-understand. Do I have to worry with this book?

the book Is very interesting and one question why do they have a girl and boy liking each other I get. it but. why does it say that you have to have courage their is no sign of courage in this book and I didn't get it ?
