I…moreI'd say its this book falls between Mg and YA, the 2 main characters are 12 and the romance thread is between 2older teenagers (its all very clean). Its also a magic realism book, meaning it is based in the "real world" and there's little pockets of magic hidden in it. For example Harry Potter is NOT magic realism, but Ingrid Laws Savvy is. This is a story about 2 friends trying break a witch's curse but these very little 'actual' magic, and no dark magic whatsoever. A very nice little book, perfect to read on a lazy summers day or to curl up with some hot cocoa on a October afternoon (less)
