I just didn't get this book. I want to understand why so many of the readers were okay with the fact that Lucas got away with saying one "I love you" and one "I am very, very sorry" on the very last page (almost). The only thing that Colleen did wrong was the impulsive break up. But I would expect more understanding and patience from a long time partner. Did he ever apologize for not providing that?

Does anyone have a Kristan Higgins book to recommend that involves a female lead with a backbone and a male lead that is not a jerk? This was the first book I read by this author, and while her writing is excellent and the book was humerous in some parts, I could only stand to read half of it.
