I'm still confused about Roger Swindon. What did he want to do with Alexei? Would he have control of him and direct him in a different way? It just seems like both Prue and the other protagonists and Roger had the same aim, and it was never revealed what Roger was going to do if he was the one to resurrect the heir. Any ideas?

What is the parable of the owl building the tower all about? What was the picture that fell from the sky? Is it maybe a reference to the money from D.B. Cooper?

But from my understanding, the little tanget was about the thirst for discovery and an escape from the mundane. The whole series was a lot about wonder and discovering new worlds, and this little bit, (to my understanding, of course) was a vignette of this, and how it can be comforting even to know the world outh there and not have to see it, like how he made the tower. That wonder inspired him, into a debatable obsessed state, which was all whisked away by greater forces in an instant. So, tldr: A reflection of the trilogy's themes of wonder and discovery and how it can be both comforting and fleeting.(less)
