I loved the explanations of the braintrust. And interesting that they brought that to Disney Animation to great success. Curious if other film makers in Hollywood or elsewhere do something similar, or is that uniquely Pixar thing?

If he's more interested in management sciences, then Good to Great is a good option. He also might enjoy Shoe Dog, Phil Knight's memoir (founder of Nike).
