In chapter 22 "Important Arrivals" Santa Claus whispers to the Wizard's ear in regard to where Button-Bright lives. What did he whisper? Is Button-Bright an alias? "Santa laughed and laid his finger aside of his nose as if thinking what to reply. He leaned over and whispered something in the Wizard's ear, at which the Wizard smiled and nodded as if he understood."

This is possibly revealed in Baum's Sky Island - possibly it's from a non-Baum Oz book. He is from a wealthy Philadelphia family.
