Merit I wouldn't recommend this book to people under 15 years old, as it contains some gruesome imagery. But it is a matter of opinion - nowadays it is more…moreI wouldn't recommend this book to people under 15 years old, as it contains some gruesome imagery. But it is a matter of opinion - nowadays it is more and more common to subject young children to violence and other stuff. I personally don't think that's right and I know I would have been shocked by certain aspects of this book if I had read it as a child. Even as an adult I'm uncomfortable with them.
Moreover, this story often felt more like a modern world than a typical nice fairytale world.(less)
