Emm A Wizard is someone who uses or practices magic derived from supernatural or occult sources, so you could say there are wizards in a way; if you look at it in a different point of view. People can speak to the wind, and her Aunt tells her of magic used by people. Even if you don't want to read it because it doesn't have these elements, I still would.

Nadine Strebig they speak of faries in the woods. This series is geared toward young adults or earlier , but I found them very entertaining.
