Can a married man write a book like this and continue to live peacefully with his wife? I picture Murakami's wife rolling up the manuscript, slapping him across the face with it and shrieking, "Why don't you go ask whoever you're really in love with what she thinks about this book?"

¿Qué pasa con los finales de Murakami? Siempre tan nimios. Este libro me hubiese gustado más si hubiese llegado a algún punto al final de la historia o si las acciones de los personajes quedaran definidas, aunque sea implícitamente. Si me faltó comprender algo o alguien lo interpreta de manera distinta, me gustaría saber su opinión.

La vida siempre sigue adelante; en cuanto que terminamos con una etapa, aquí está la siguiente (si es que no se superponen una a otra). Pocas personas reales son nitidamente definidas; el ser humano consciente de su vida está (y debe estar) en una condición de constante adaptación y cambio. Claro que existen personas que se limitan a respirar, comer, dormir y andar una linea recta de la cuna a la tumba, pasando por las etapas vitales una tras otra sin variación...pero no sería muy emocionante leer sobre ellos.(less)

He writes so good! In such a short book he describes evolution of someones life with all depths of his feelings and thoughts.. “The sad truth is that certain types of things can't go backward. Once they start going forward, no matter what you do, they can't go back the way they were. If even one little thing goes awry, then that's how it will stay forever.”

Why is the simple things the most fantastics? This book make your travel from simple feelings to the most complex. Since the beginning you feel yourself inside the history,Murakami has a fascinating way of writting. I lot of people will not understand the poetry and the mystery wrote in simple words. However its a masterpiece, just read it and prepare yourself for all emotions.
