There many others, and some of their books are better than others. But for me, it's like that old shoe relationship, comfortable, warm and known.(less)

I listened to Sycamore Row and the narrator becomes the characters and I was hooked from the first word to the last. Just loved this book. However, the prior one I listened to, The Confession, about the death penalty was boring and preachy with cardboard characters. (less)
