Just because the subject matter and/or genre "seem" like they've been done before doesn't mean they can't be done well again. That's the challenge that all writers face, after all -- to take a love story or a man v. nature tale and tell it in a fresh and compelling way. (less)

Is this book for Children or would you recommend it for Adults? (I've read almost all of Brandon Sanderson's book needless to say they're mostly awesome!)

Is it wrong for a 46 year old man to enjoy these books? Also, does Sanderson always write books for teens or are his other books philosophically deeper?

Similar in plot (ragtag group trying to take down a super-powered evil overlord), but fantasy rather than sci-fi and is much deeper because it's intended to be for adults and epic in scope. He loves to write about absolute power and what it does to people.(less)
