Am I the only one who just could not read this book? Yuk!

Samantha Whaaaat. This and the Sparrow are a few of my favorite books of all time.

What did the people of Rakhat look like? I loved The Sparrow, and liked Children of God. But after finishing the books, I am still not sure whether the Rakhat species resembled bunny rabbits, kangaroos, or something in between. What say you, people of Earth?

Can someone tell me what age Emilio is at the end? I'm not sure how to do the math on that one! I know in earth years he'd be really ancient, but is he only in his 60s in the last scene?

So total travel time of two trips is a little over two years, plus 4 years there and two years on earth, so eight years total aged. If not the age difference between him and Sofia would be much smaller.(less)
